Dr. Julia R. Kellcy
Simply Well Medical Director
Dr. Julia Kellcy has always known that helping others was her calling. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Angelo State University, then continued her education at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, where she received her Doctor of Osteopathy degree in 1991. She completed her residency in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, serving in the U.S. Army until 1998, when she transitioned into private practice in New Braunfels, Texas.
For more than 30 years, Dr. Kellcy has cared for patients in a variety of settings. While she loved her years in private practice, she later found a new passion working in the ICU at Christus Santa Rosa in New Braunfels—supporting patients in critical situations alongside a team she considered family. Today, she is a board-certified Hospice and Palliative Care physician and the owner of Simply Well Primary Care & Aesthetics.
Dr. Kellcy views the practice of medicine as both a calling and a gift, which led her to expand into aesthetics—helping patients not only maintain their health, but also feel their very best. Her priority is ensuring that every patient feels informed, safe, and cared for through her extensive experience in both medicine and aesthetics.
Outside of work, Julia loves spending time with family and friends, dancing, traveling, and participating in church and community activities. She believes God has blessed her with the ability to serve others, and she remains committed to using her skills to improve lives every day.
